Latino (South American) Dancing
If you love the authentic rhythms of South America then this style is for you.
If you need the music the be fast and make your hips want to move, get ready to get up and personal with your partner.
Most associate the South American rhythms as hot and sexy with ots of hips, fast feet and seductive moves.
The style of music has orginated from a number of different countries and there is variety in the beat so we suggest that you learn Salsa, Samba, Mambo, Merengue, Lambada or Bachata and Argentine Tango to dance all night.
Where to use:
There are a number of pubs and clubs that hold nights where purely South American music is played so there is no shortage these days. There also a number of festivals in the Summer celebrating this style of dance. Or just invite a few friends around and have a latin night in the back yard, just don't forget the neighbours.
We also hold regular socials, outings and dinner dances for more opportunities to use your new skills.
South American music, and a number today's artists are writing songs in this genre.
This is all about making you feel good about your first dance together.
Time to kick off the party and show off your new skills.
Your dance can be anything from a few simple moves that allow you to relax and enjoy the experience to a fully choreographed routine to entertain your guests.
Come in with as many ideas as you like and don't worry if you have none to start with.
You choose, we'll show you how to move to it
If you are having trouble deciding and can get it down to a short list, bring that in and we can take you through the dances that fit and that can help you decide.
If you need a starting point, list down any songs that are significant to you both.
An other approach is to think about the mood you want, i.e. slow and romantic, or upbeat and fun, a little out there, etc.
Who can attend?:
Your choice, can be just the bride and groom or you can include your bridal party.
Bring in your Father for your Father/Daughter dance.
Bring your mother, your children, anyone wanting to learn.
